A Day In the Life

This is my first attempt at Blogging...I am a public school teacher, artist, mother and I write from perspectives as all three to things that seem compelling....with a hope it creates community and cross-communication in a busy world and life. I value human connectivity greatly. God's Eyes, a set on Flickr.

I'm learning a new craft after teaching it to my third graders. A couple days ago i blogged their efforts, now after three days of making I'm sharing my work so far. Each one teaches me something about how to get a certain look-it is really applied math. I have a ways to go because what I'd like to do is a design about the size of a wreath for the door that could be put on the door in this season. These will be gifts for family and friends. When I get to something outstanding I'll post those for sure!
I agree with my students, thee are very meditative, time just dissolves making them.
