We celebrated it twice, due to miscalculating a year.
I love Japanese Prints-it's being shipped, I find it hard to wait. My anniversary is 12-12-12.
I chose this over several other beautiful woodblocks, Toshi Yoshida.
I painted a mural-well many in my home in Temecula and this reminds me of that work.
The reflection, the stillness, the atmosphere, the color, the openess. Many things that move me in the work.
It is utterly beautiful.

DeleteYes, I left it and five others in my other house, and I'm sure the buyers probably rushed to repaint. I've always mural painted. But not in my present home....too sick. The print reminds me of those murals. That's lovely.
