Last Day of 2008

Better make something of it (2008) than look forward to its disappearance I guess.



Got a new bowl out of the kiln, my third effort. It's flater covered with butterflies.
I'm going to say I like it, but truthfully I'm a bit frustrated as there are a few flaws that need refiring, sometimes glaze doesn't adhere. I want to look at the birds down at the beach today.
need to make bird bowls. But it is so cold I doubt there will be so many....we will see.




In awhile I'll write about this year but I lost a long post this AM, just boom, gone. Maybe better I had a horrible headache getting up early to write it.
And I wanted to make a few points that don't particularly voicing aloud.



Yesterday I made dinner for a good friend's birthday. She had.....scalloped potatoes, veggie lasagne ( spinach, mushroom), bowl of berries, salad, ham, scalloped potatoes, alfredoed pasta, white chocolate cake, green beans, bread. Nothing messed up too badly a miracle. She got me a warming buffet tray for Christmas and I really love it.




Nice to be out of work for awhile. You could get used to it.



Let's hope I make some more.........on this last day of 2008.
