I am a public school teacher, artist, mother and I write from perspectives as all three to things that seem compelling....with a hope it creates community and cross-communication in a busy world and life. I value human connectivity greatly. Two Years In a Russian Prison?
I just looked at what earns two years in jail in Russia.
It's here, bottom of page.
Isn't my memory holding onto shreds of remembering that Russia had incredible corruption, black markets, crime? Are girls in crocheted caps posing this much mischief really lining their prisons?
You would think that some masks and dance moves would be annoying to the tune of 5 days. Or a fine. Or maybe some guitar lessons.
Definitely.
We take this in I suppose here in the "land of the free".
But.
I just happened to go read a bit about it today, avoiding work I need to be doing.
I remember punk.
I also remember being younger.
Random Acts of Punk becomes a really long sentence in what perhaps was the point .
Surely the men in Russia, oh well, I'll keep the thought.
There's something happening here.

Putin asked the court for clemency, but of course he has no control over Russian courts.
ReplyDeleteHooliganism is serious business and we know that Russian state has always regarded the Russian Orthodox Church with deep regard.
