I am a public school teacher, artist, mother and I write from perspectives as all three to things that seem compelling....with a hope it creates community and cross-communication in a busy world and life. I value human connectivity greatly. Deep Breath, Play it every morning to my class.....and on this equinox play it for you.
Hoping you find the day and the night equally joyful.
Equinox!
However you find it, find a way to reach out and touch the face of ......
Everyday.
I got to sing this in concert on a beautiful night at the top of my lungs at the Greek Theater with the best seats in the house. A gift I gave myself.
Nothing beats Al..

Ahhh the equinox. Depressing with the light fading away. I don't think I have ever understood the impact of days growing shorter on my Soul. I like spring better.
ReplyDeleteI don't much care for the heat of summer and the fall offers a much need respite, but that fading light.
It's funny how "to the day" I knew it was the equinox until OI think, oh yes, we are all sun set. I don't mind the darkness coming. I sleep better often. But I understand that love for spring. This year I'm so hot teaching -boiling in my room, look forward to the cooling I hope that's around the corner. Look forward to wearing my boots. Look forward to that calm darkness.
