Did I mention I figured out iTunes on my new Mac? I did. (Going to be in little bit of big trouble for buying ten albums but then from Finland what can anyone do to you? Spouse off to his joys...I'm to mine...I'm not happy but so it goes...calling it business...I'm calling it the new Coach purse) ....So I'm listening to Jarreau. Lovely.
And I figured out how to listen to Something That You Said while I listen to this horn play the prettiest little lick...'oh I can play this restless melody again...maybe the little refrain will whisper inside the rain again'. That tune is among some pretty vocal pieces j'adore... I saw this set in concert, this makes a nice return visit....haven't heard this in a long time. I have favorite Jarreau albums and tunes. This tune is a lullaby..to your heart...'make the change, sail away beyond the wishing star..teach the heart..to sail.' Soft.
Flame opens the album. If I could order people to listen to music..I know who I'd like to hear this one.But i can't order anyone to do anything...not even listen. 'Foolish hearts, stay the same, dance in time.' To me this opens with the flame to be sure....nice tune. To sing.
As a teacher , mom...I think God's Gift To the World is a welcome a child to our world pop ballad...so I use it going to work sometimes. To get ready to think with a whole heart with kids. especially days I'm losing my love.... I had a friend mock it...and I can see that.I'm so fond of this music it is like many of my feelings, completely open to attack for lack of elan...too true.. You have to excuse my openly pop connect. I don't mock..just sing.
Last Night, kind of a love tune, yeah. I like that too.
Too pop for my friend. Let Me Love You....hold this hand right now....oh it's a goodbye.
Sail away, changes, losses, this album.
This is a ballady group.Too pop for some, Jarreau.. Love tunes...I enjoyed that concert to my bones marrow...a very affectionate night in my past. Took Sylvia my daughter and I remember being outside on a beautiful night. Lovely.Moon light. Jarreau seems to have evolved to the place of living love.
My favorite is Something That You Said....words are tumbling out, associations, words bobbling, comfort, feelings, taking you just around..here and there..through the inner spaces of our wandering minds, dreamy, what he does the best...he's a poet. He's a poet. And I love to wander in this tune. I'm going to think of people and places, Paris and days gone.
My sweet friend. Listen..to this one. Just this one is enough.
